I did not stumble upon bees due to wanting a better price on cell phones or even worrying about prepping I stumble upon these because of my concern regarding changes with the surveillance act that what I discovered was well let me ask you this....... Why did did they get rid of Nextel ... Combine that with the fact that they have now bought out all the remaining frequencies....federal government. Call me a conspiracy theorist but it became very clear when we saw that they were doing that that they were very concerned about radio communications

Getting excited about talking 10, 20 or 50 miles on one of these is like being amazed that you can talk across town on a cell phone. These "radios" are cellular devices that have "no monthly fee" but cost $50 each a year. That's right, if you have 3 that's $150 a year. Best part, try going somewhere like the back country where your cell phone is dead. No cell service, no talkie. Your $50 a year "radios" can't even talk 100 yards without cell service. These are only as reliable as the cellular network. I wonder if you let you subscription lapse... Is there an additional "reconnect" fee? What if Rapid Radio goes under, do you now have expensive paper weights?

Had some initial doubts about the Magic Box 2.0, but after a smooth setup process with the help of customer support, I'm enjoying seamless streaming in my car.

I know this is old but today just say good by to your truck the fines will hurt. I know a towing companny in mo got busted now out of bussinnes and got jail time. They fired a emplomy he called the epa . A trucking company in mo also the owner is doing jail time and payed a 5 millon dollar fine and the shop that did the delet also got fined and jail time. Piss off the wrong peeson you may have the epa show up at your door. The epa isnt messing around any more. Pdi makes a epa legil tuner not sure for pick up but for big rigs

Thanks for posting this video. I have the Donaldson muffler on my truck as well and the 30”fre resonator. It’s obviously very quiet but I get a high pitch “whistle” noise when building boost and around 2k rpm’s. Both when accelerating and when on the highway. Does your Donaldson muffler make any kind of high pitched “whistle” noise when accelerating? It also happens when the exhaust brake is on for me. That’s more of a squeal and I don’t think it’s exhaust manifold gaskets or turbo related because it sounds like it’s coming from the back right window (where the muffler is). Any ideas would be helpful! Thanks.

I saw an ad on facebook for these and tried asking about the no fees or contracts saying but after 1 year you have to pay 50 bucks a year per radio forever. Within 30 seconds my comment was deleted. So, I will not order from them if they do business like that. They should show every question and answer them accordingly to be fair. Felt like bad business to me.

I had to use this method of priming. With the filter cracked it would not prime. Didn’t matter how many times I ran the pump. Once I tightened it up I cycled the pump 5 times and it was good to go. I’m see I’m not the only one who doesn’t crack it 😂

Your pump is not the updated one. It would have a stop bolt on the back to prevent piston to spin.

The other downside to this radio is, if cell service is down it wont be great lol any HT they become line of sight only. By then I rather use a ft-817, ft-891, G90 or any other HF mobile transceiver with the correct antenna then this garbage handy talkie.

I reside in northern AB Canada & I have to agree. After a trial run with a $7500 solar setup in my RV (vs my $900 3600 watt inverter generator) the results are disappointing. I'm not a fan of the noise however nothing short of now carrying a 2000 watt inverter generator can make up for the shortfall. My "average" solar input is probably the most disappointing, too low for sustainability.
